Help Fill the Bus and Fight Child
Hunger in the Southern Tier
WHAT: A community-wide food drive to collect non-perishable items for children
at risk of hunger in the Southern Tier.
WHEN: September 10th - September 24th
WHERE: Wegmans - Corning, Elmira,
Hornell, Ithaca & Johnson City store locations

2009-2010 BackPack Program Statistics:
- Served 19 school districts in Broome, Chemung,
Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins counties.
- 1,286 children received packs weekly
- 47,000 total packs distributed.
