HUNGER ACTION MONTH 2015
September is Hunger Action Month - Show Your Support & Turn Orange!
September is Hunger Action Month and we are all turning orange - the color of hunger relief!
The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is asking individuals, businesses, civic organizations, elected officials, and congregations to Go Orange September 3rd, and all month long to show their support. Orange is the color for hunger awareness.
Post your photos on the Food Bank's Facebook page if you're wearing orange anytime this month, in support of hunger awareness!
#SPOONTEMBER Get your spoons ready! We’re asking our supporters to take selfies of themselves balancing a spoon on their nose to share on their social channels with the hashtag #Spoontember and a hunger statistic. Challenge your family and friends to post their own #Spoontember seflies! Click here for details.
Thunderclap Help us spread the word about #HungerActionMonth by donating a Facebook post or a Tweet on September 3rd with the help of Thunderclap! Click here for more information about how you can help us raise awareness about hunger in the Southern Tier.
