Since 1994, Check Out Hunger has been raising funds and increasing awareness for hunger-relief efforts across the Southern Tier. Check Out Hunger is the largest and most important hunger-relief campaign conducted in the Southern Tier.

From January 24th - February 27th, look for the convenient coupons at checkout counters of local grocery retailers. Tell the cashier "I Want to Check Out Hunger". The cashier will scan the coupon amount that you choose: $2, $3, or $5 and the donation will appear on your shopping receipt.

Your support is so easy and so helpful in the fight against hunger!

Your $5 donation enables the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to acquire over
$20 worth of food. The food is then distributed to over 185 member agencies in
six Southern Tier counties. Our service area includes: Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins counties. 

100% of the donations from Check Out Hunger go to fight local hunger.
