The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is proud to receive a $1,200 grant from Rose’s Youth Philanthropists, a regional youth grants committee that supports organizations that impact youth in Chemung and Southeastern Steuben counties.
The S. Roberts Rose Fund was established at the Community Foundation Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes to give youth a voice at the grant-making table. The Rose’s Youth Philanthropists committee is comprised of two students each from seven area high
schools. This grant will support the Food Bank’s BackPack Program which provides weekend food packs to students throughout the school year. The funds will provide 10 students with packs of food for an entire school year.
Thank you, Rose’s Youth Philanthropists!
