Tour de Keuka is an annual charity bike ride that benefits the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. To participate in a 16, 45, 58 or 100 mile ride, cyclists raise money to feed families struggling with hunger. Taking place in New York’s Finger Lakes region, participants begin the ride in Hammondsport and travel around stunning Keuka Lake.
When: Saturday, July 22, 2017
Where: Hammondsport Fire Department
Why: 1 in 7 people in the Southern Tier struggle with hunger. Hunger is an often invisible problem, but you have the power to make a difference. Every cyclist fundraises enough to provide at least 450 meals for people in need in the Southern Tier, making a direct and significant impact on the life of a child, senior or family. Learn more about the impact.
Time: Century Ride 100 Miles: 7:00 AM - Bluff Ride 58 Miles: 9:00 AM - Jenny Rhoads Memorial Ride Around the Lake 45 Miles: 9:00 AM - Family Ride 16.4 Miles: 9:30 AM
Registration: The registration fee for adults and children 5 and up is $25. The first 250 people to register will receive a free Tour de Keuka gift! Click here to register and learn more about fees and fundraising minimums.
Fundraising: In addition to the registration fee, all cyclists must donate or fundraise to participate. Each adult must raise $150 and kids age 5 to 17 must raise $60. Click here to set up an online fundraising page.
Children: All ages are welcome to participate in any ride, but children under 5 years old must ride on or be pulled behind a guardian's bike. Children in trailers or bike carriers do not have to fundraise but will need to register and have a completed waiver. All children and teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Routes: Every route offers beautiful views of Keuka Lake and Finger Lakes wine country. Choose from four different options: the 16-mile Family Ride, the 45-mile Around the Lake Ride, the 58-mile Bluff Ride, or the 100-mile Century Ride. Click here for the latest information about routes.
Safety: Tour de Keuka is for experienced cyclists who feel comfortable riding on open roads. Rest stops and support vehicles will be available along the route. Click here to learn more about cycling safety.
