Can I participate as a team?
Yes! The registration form will prompt you to enter your optional team name at the bottom. If you've already registered, contact Katherine Strawser at firstname.lastname@example.org or 607-796-6061 x4033 to be added to a team.
Can I fundraise as a team? How do team donations work?
Unfortunately, teams cannot create one team fundraising page on everydayhero. However, each team member can create an individual fundraising page and encourage donors to give to multiple members of the same team. Each individual team member has to raise at least $150 to participate.
I didn't fundraise $250 in time to get my TDK jersey at the event. Can I fundraise after Tour de Keuka is over?
Yes! Fundraising will be open for a few weeks after Tour de Keuka, and then we'll place the final jersey order. If you fundraise $250 before the final jersey order, you'll still be eligible to receive one.
Can my child participate and ride with me?
Yes, children of all ages can participate in any ride. Children under 5 years old must ride on or be pulled behind a guardian's bike. Children in trailers or bike carriers do not have to fundraise but will need to register and have a completed waiver. All children and teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I invite friends and family to cheer me on?
Yes, friends and family are welcome! There are several areas where they can watch you ride. There will also be areas for taking photos at TDK home base.
Does my employer's matching gift count towards my fundraising minimum?
No, employer matching gifts do not count toward the fundraising minimum. Each rider must raise at least $150 to ride, in addition to any employer matching gift.
Will food be available?
Yes, a complimentary catered breakfast and picnic dinner will be provided at TDK home base.
