SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM / KIDS' FARMERS MARKETS

In the Food Bank's six-county service area, over 50% of children are eligible for free and reduced-priced meals at school. With the school year ending, many children in the Southern Tier who rely on these meals will soon be without access to in-school meal service for the summer.

This is where the Summer Food Service Program steps in to the help fill this gap. Children and teens 18 years and under are welcome at open meal sites and can eat a free, nutritious meal or snack. There is no registration or paperwork required. Please help us spread the word about this program.
