Summer Food Service Program

Summer Food Service Program

Free summer meals for kids and teens!

In the Food Bank's six-county service area, more than 50 percent of children are eligible for free and reduced-priced meals at school. When school gets out, children who rely on school meals often lose access to nutritious food.

This is where the Summer Food Service Program fills the gap. Throughout the summer, children and teens 18 years and under are welcome at open meal sites (like parks and community centers) to eat free meals and snacks. There is no registration or paperwork required!

Make sure to take home free fresh produce from our Kids' Farmers Markets at some of the summer meal sites in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben Counties!
